Dr. Chevalier Sivaji Ganesan
V.C. Ganesan, popularly known as Sivaji Ganesan born on October 1 1927 was a stage and film actor who was famous for his versatility and facial expressions. In his first film PARASAKTHI, one could not judge Sivaji Gamesam as a new face. In the film Navarathiri(1964), Ganesan donned nine different roles that represented the nine emotional states of a person. His facial expressions with very good dialogue delivery in different movies especially in VEERAPANDIA KATTABOMMAN could not be erased from the hearts of Tamil film fans.
He was the first South Indian film actor who won a best actor award in an international film festival, the Afro-Asian Film Festival held in Cairo, Egyptin 1959 and the first Indian actor to be made a Chevalier of the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres, France.

Dr. Sivaji Ganesan died at the age of 72 in the year 2001. Acting, action, performance mean only Sivaji Ganesan
